What MaxWorth is
MaxWorth is a privacy-first credit card benefits tracker: recurring credits, annual-fee ROI, card-linked offers and cashback portal rates — without connecting a bank account.
Two products share one asset: a curated database of dollar-valued credit card benefits across the United States, Canada and Australia, paired with offer data from real cardholders.
- The MaxWorth app (iOS, with a Chrome extension) tracks your cards' benefits automatically — redemption progress, reset dates, expiry alerts, best-card recommendations and award-flight search.
- This site publishes what the database knows: rankings for every spending category, detail pages for every card, a comparison tool, and news, reviews and guides.
Who writes this site
MaxWorth is built and written by Frank Shen, its founder, with a small team that maintains the card database. We are cardholders ourselves; the products we review are ones we track, hold, and argue about. Articles are bylined "Frank": every fee, rate and benefit figure in an article is drawn from the database rather than typed by hand, and every database entry is verified against the issuer's own site.
Editorial policy
- Numbers come from the database, not memory. Card pages and rankings are generated from it at build time; articles embed the same live figures. When the database is corrected, every page updates.
- Rankings are computed, not negotiated. Our methodology is public; no card can pay for placement.
- No affiliate income. We have no commercial relationships with issuers and earn nothing when you apply for a card. This site is funded by the MaxWorth app.
- Dates are honest. Every article shows its publication and update dates; every data page shows when its data was last refreshed.
- Corrections are welcome. Spot an error? Tell us through the app — fixes go into the database and propagate everywhere.
