Sam's Club Membership Required
An active Sam's Club membership is required to hold and use this card. Club membership starts at $50 per year and Plus membership at $110 per year. The card itself has no annual fee, but the membership cost is effectively an annual cost of carrying it. Plus members separately earn 2% Sam's Cash on qualifying Sam's Club purchases through the membership — that is a membership benefit, not a card benefit.
Sam's Cash Rewards Caps
The 5% rate on gas and EV charging applies to the first $6,000 spent per year; spending beyond that earns 1%. Total cash back earned across all categories is capped at $5,000 per calendar year. Sam's Cash is loaded to your membership monthly and can be redeemed for most Sam's Club purchases or cashed out in club.
No Foreign Transaction Fees
No foreign transaction fees on purchases made outside the United States. This card previously charged a 3% foreign transaction fee; that fee has been removed.
